So I haven't posted in a very long time. I blame this on my mommy. She thinks that since she is having another baby boy that she is too busy to help me blog. Here is what has been going on...
-we went to Hawaii for my Aunt Teresa's graduation
-we had a pool party or two over memorial day weekend
-I turned 18 months
-I found out I am going to have a baby brother in September.
-I have become very attached to my mommy, she is my everything
-I like to talk and can say lots of words
-My favorites are water, cookie, get down, I love Dada
-I am taking swim lessons cause I hate the water
-I started Nursery and I am not a fan
-my favorite things to do are still play with balls and cars

Seal Beach, San Diego Zoo, and Mission Beach

Over Labor Day weekend Mommy, Daddy, and I went to California. First we stayed with my Oma's best friend and her husband at Seal Beach. Then we met up with Auntie Jen and Uncle Levi (they are not my real aunt or uncle but I love them just the same). We went to the zoo and to mission beach. It was so fun. The only part I didn't like was getting sand on my thumb. How am I supposed to suck my thumb with sand on it? My mom bought me this really cool pool that is shaded and I played in it most the day. But then I got really tired and took a nap.

Family Vacation to Canada

We went to Waterton Park and stayed in my grandparents cabin in Canada in August. I had so much fun playing with my cousins. I didn't really like hiking very much until my brilliant mother figured out that when I am tired just lay a blanket over the carrier and I will fall right asleep. The weather was cool which is a big change from my desert life in Vegas. My mommy and daddy had to buy me a fuzzy hat and gloves.

Most of you already know that my mom is from the town that vampires dwell. This summer we went to visit family there. While we were there we saw Bella and Edward there (oh my goodness). It is amazing how much a town can change all because of a book. Well at least it is good for their economy (that is what my grandpa told me).

Here is the last picture that I took with my great grandpa before the passed away this month of cancer. I am so happy that I was able to meet him. He was a wonderful great grandpa, a super grandfather to my mommy, and the best dad my Oma could have asked for. He will be missed so much. I know that someday I will see him again in Heaven.

Settling into the new house

We finally are moved into the new house. We are not unpacked all the way but I told mom we should have my cousins over for a pool party. It was so fun. I also like to help my mommy with the laundry, she lets me ride around in the basket. I love my mommy and daddy so much. PS-Look how fun my new pool toy is.

My mommy has her last day of work on Monday. Then she gets to stay at home with me forever. We are so happy that daddy is such a hard worker and can take care of us. Mommy is a little sad about "retiring" from teaching but she is even more excited about all the time she will have with me.
We also got the keys to our house last week. We are remodeling and painting and hope to move in by the end of this month. I love my house. It has a pool and a hotub and a huge backyard for me to play in.
I am getting better and better at sitting up now. I have learned how to balance myself with my arms. I am pretty impressed with myself.
Daddy is studying for the bar so I don't see him that much but every second that he can he is playing with me, kissing me, or my favorite he is feeding me yummy food.
Mommy and me are going to Washington and Oregon to visit family in July. We can't wait to see all of you.

Daddy's Graduation

My daddy graduated from UNLV Law School on Friday. It was sort of bittersweet for our family. We are glad he is finally done because it has been a long, hard journey for us all but from what I hear studying for the bar is even worse. I am in for about two months of mommy and me time because daddy is going to be gone studying all day and all night. I hope I don't start walking while he is preparing for the bar.

I am pretty much the funniest baby ever. I have a great sense of humor. My favorite things to laugh out loud about are when my family makes funny faces at me or talk funny to me. I laugh so hard I get the hiccups. Another thing that I think is funny is that a couple of weeks ago I learned how to roll over but I only like to do it if my mommy isn't around. She still hasn't seen it in real life. She only saw a video my auntie taped of me. I crack myself up.

I love my Auntie Makayla, she is my nanny right now until the end of the school year. She is such a great nanny. She takes really good care of me. Right now she is teaching me how to roll over. I don't know if I have ever told you this but my mommy has not had to buy me any clothes since I was born. We have some many generous people in our lives that my closet, dresser, and garage are full of awesome clothes for the next year atleast. This is a cute sweater that my Auntie Myssi from Hawaii sent me. I like to wear this to church because it is cold at church. And the exercise saucer that I am sitting in was given to me from my friends Katie and Ben, he used to play in it when he was little. Thank you everyone for your wonderful gifts. We love you so much.

4 month check up

My auntie/nanny Auntie Makayla took me to my four month check up last week. I am in the 5th percentile for height, 10th for weight, and 25th for head. I know big heads run in my family so I was doomed from the start. Oh well big head=big brains. Well anyways the doctor said I can start eating rice cereal and boy do I like it. Pictures to come of my first time eating it. These pictures below are from last week when my family went out house hunting. Yes that is right, Daddy, Mommy, Bear and me are looking to buy a new house. Mommy let me wear this cool hat that I got from my cousins in Utah. Thank you cousins!

Uncle Matt Zobrist for Judge

My uncle Matt is running for Henderson Judge so I went to support his campaign. I strolled along during the St. Patricks Day parade wearing a onesie that said, "Zobrist for Judge." We had such a good time. The weather was beautiful and I got to hang out with my cousins. The best part though was being the token political baby. Valentines Day at the Ranch

For Valentine's Day my mom and dad took me to Grammy and Grandpa's ranch in Utah. We met up with my cousins. On the way up there we hit a snow storm 12 miles from our exit and it took us an hour to get there. I was really good and just slept in my carseat in the back. My daddy was especially happy about that since it is hard to drive in the snow. The next day my dad pulled my cousins on sleds behind the rhino. I of course had to stay inside where it is warm. I can't wait until I am big enough to play with the big kids. My dog Bear also got to see her cousins, Brian and Juno. They had so much fun wrestling around all weekend. I also finally got to wear the super cute outfit from the Firms. Don't I look so adorable? All in all I would say Valentine's Day was a success I was surrounded by my family that loves me and that is all that matters.

Baby Blessing

On Feb. 1 my dad did one of the most special things he can ever do for me. He gave me my baby blessing at my church. Lots of my family and friends came to share this day with me. My mommy was surprised that my clothes stayed clean through the whole thing.

Two Month Checkup

I just got back from my two month check up with the doctor. It was not fun. I had to get shots. I am a tough guy though so I didn't cry for very long. The great news is that I now weigh 10 pounds 4 ounces. Only two more ounces to go until I have doubled my birth weight. I am in the 25th percentile for weight, the 10th percentile for my head and only the 5th percentile for my height. I am just excited that I am now on the charts. The best part of the doctors appointment was when the nurse called me chubby. That is a rare thing for people say to me so I gave her a big smile. No more calling this chubby guy, Tiny.

My Busy Week!

This last week has been very busy for me. I got to do so many cool things. I went to Chucky Cheese for my cousin Sean's birthday, then I went to my cousin Adam's birthday party at his house. I also got to go out to breakfast at IHOP and see my Grammy and Grandpa. Then on Saturday night I was able to watch my cousins Emily and Nikole in their play. They were such good actresses. My dog Bear got a really short haircut (mommy doesn't like it) because her hair was too long and it got matted. Yesterday I went to church in this really sweet outfit that my friend Jamie bought me. I have posted some pictures of these events so everyone could see all the things I did. I especially like the one where my Uncle Matt is holding me and making a funny face. What a goofy guy. Oh yeah, and the my dad bought my mommy the beautiful pink roses I posted. This was such a great surprise for my mommu. I am so excited for this week because I get to meet my Grandma and Grandpa T. They are flying from Washington to watch my baby blessing. I am going to be blessed on Sunday at 1PM at my church. Lots of other people are coming too, like my Oma. We are going to have a superbowl party/luncheon afterwards. Feel free to call my mommy if you want to come and she will give you the details.

No longer a mommy's boy!

Well I figured since I am 6 weeks old now and it is finally my official due date today, I should stop being a little momma's boy and start blogging for myself. Here are some pretty cool things that have been happening in my life lately. I weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces on January 1st but I am pretty sure that by now I am close to the 8 pound mark. (I should be the amount of time I spend eating). I also told my parents that I was too old to be sleeping in their bedroom in the bassinet so they finally moved me to my own room in the super sweet crib. Now I can sleep for 4 hours straight before I wake my mom up to come feed me. My mom says that I take after my dad because I still pretty much sleep all the time (unless it is time to eat). So far my favorite hobbies are; eating, sleeping, swinging, snugglying with my dog Bear, and watching daddy play video games. Oh yeah, here is a picture of me all dressed up for our New Years celebration. Ladies try to control yourselves my mom says I can't date until I am 16.

Tanner is finally gaining weight!

At 18 days old Tanner is finally starting to catch on to eating and now weighs 5 pounds 7 ounces. He is also thinking of a career in modeling (notice his pose in picture). This is an outfit that his grammy got for him off one of her dolls. We are so happy to have Tanner in our family. Caleb is such a good dad who offers to change his diapers whenever he is home.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Tanner was able to come home from the hospital yesterday. We are so excited to finally have him home. He had to stay 8 days in the NICU because he was not eating well. But now he is eating great. I will post more pictures soon.

Here is a picture of the cutest baby ever. As far as an update... Tanner is still in the NICU but only because he sometimes is too tired to eat. They said he can come home as soon as he starts eating on his own regularly and gains some weight. He is doing better than expected for being so early and we feel totally blessed. I am a little emotional from having to leave him at the hospital every day but we get to go and see him every three hours.
